Marcio and James have been practising and teaching yoga for many years; through their practice, they have overcome many physical and emotional difficulties and now, at their Farnborough Yoga1 Studio, they want to share this powerful, ancient ideology with you.
Yoga, as a holistic traditional philosophy, means to ‘join’ – as in to join the mind, body and soul as a stronger whole. Yoga not only creates a stronger, more flexible and healthy body, but also a stronger, calmer mind. When the body and mind are strong, the sense of well-being and happiness naturally follows.
We offer the studio as a space for personal growth of all of the elements of mind and body: meditation cultivates a more resilient mind; the body is strengthened and nourished via the physical classes and our space for like minded people to meet and grow allows for an overall sense of well-being.
