Farnborough Leisure Centre is getting behind this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal with an Open Day on Saturday 16th November.

The team at Farnborough Leisure Centre are hosting a FREE Open Day to support BBC Children in Need. BBC Children in Need currently funds over 3,000 local charities and projects in communities the length and breadth of the UK, helping children and young people facing a range of disadvantages such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma.

Kerri Lamont, General Manager at Farnborough Leisure Centre said, “It’s a great way for colleagues and customers to get active and have fun whilst raising funds for this fantastic cause. We are pleased to be able to do a small bit to help support this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal, which helps to change the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK. Every young person should have the opportunity to enjoy their childhood to the fullest and together we hope to make a positive difference.”

Customers On the day we have a whole range of activities for you to enjoy, including FREE Soft Play in our Adventure Reef, Jungle themed bouncy castles & play equipment and Arts and Crafts all between 9am-1pm.”

This year Places Leisure who manage Farnborough Leisure Centre on behalf of Rushmoor Council are one of the official partners of BBC Children in Need and are committed to supporting the appeal across 69 of its leisure facilities.
